Thoughts on my prose? It's based on a true story.

On the way to the supermarket with my brother, there was a girl my age, dyed hair, and a beautiful complexion in the cool morning sun. My brother had egged me on and made his way past her to the entrance. I was left to my own devices and immediately began using my phone to play the act of not being totally idle. We were no less than a few feet from each other, she was waiting for someone but who? If it were me I'd prefer to arrive early and be the one waiting instead. I had no plan to approach and we were beginning to exchange glances being the only two in the early morning at the front of a supermarket with chilling winds blowing by. I was drawing blanks in my head and fearful distant thoughts crushed this building anxiety by leaving this lass to be. "Fuck it" I said to myself, "Don't be a bitch" that inner voice pushing me I finally decided to approach and just wing it. Realization kicked in before I was even in stride: You have not been out of your house in months, your sun-deprived skin put a milky complexion in your afro-Hispanic skin, you have not shaved in nearly a month, your horrible diet has decorated acne across your face, you have not brushed your teeth today nor the day before. My legs began to be weak, and my face sweat. The confidence and fake bravado faded and my stride began to mimic John Lennon's silly walk. I was face to face with the girl when I realized I had a huge heave of sweat going down my ass.

And so I walked past her as quickly as I could so completely off balance by this nervous tick that I nearly had hit her with my shoulder by scraping by. I walked on like this way to the back of the store to find my brother.
