What went wrong? Why are no libations being poured on the holy rock? Why has there been so long since thigh of oxen burned upon it? Why are there no bands of young men roaming the countryside singing devotional songs to the future Ubermenschen? Why is the holy book not kept tucked close to the heart by fervent fanatics as they climb the world's mountains in daring feats of Will to Power? Why has the sweet fragrance of fanaticism not yet swept the continent?

In short, why are there no cults of Nietzsche's Dionysian pantheism? What went wrong?
