nothing wrong with seeking fame per se, but be aware that the only reason you seek fame is cause you're afraid of death, and the only way of "living forever" is through fame (ie. remembered by history). So in a sense a true artist shoudn't care about fame, but as long as you have the genuine passion a true artists has, which it sounds like you do, you're doing the right thing
