You've been on 4chan for years, so it isn't a stretch to say that on some level you find quite charming the abrasive nature of the interactions here. Sometimes you even play the role of the aggressor.

Deep down you actually are (slightly) affected by the harsher criticisms. You preemptively communicate warmth and positivity both to disarm potential bullies, and to rationalize in your own mind that you're a good person and so the meanies and their opinions don't mean anything
