Some of us were born with characteristics and flaws which would have resulted in our premature deaths had we not been born into an uber-wealthy more or less compassionate industrialized society. Many many of us (especially regulars on 4chan) wouldn't exist if it weren't for the social scaffolding keeping us propped up. Armed with this knowledge I find it much easier to not care about things. Why shouldn't I take advantage of all the deleicious food available to me, the nearly-unlimited flow of information? For the FIRST time in human history we have access to the largest library of human knowledge in the history of our species. It takes five minutes to download literally every single one of Schopenhauer's, Nietzsche's, etc work. Why shouldn't I be an asocial parasitic NEET (I'm not, but still)? Why should I participate in a society that I despise almost as much as it despises me- a society that I'm not meant to be a part of? Bros the ultimate pill is SELF-AWARE LDAR.
