If there is no God and nobody in the tribe wants you unless you are willing to give up a fair amount of property, this world ought to be destroyed. There is no commitment you must have to neither anything, nor anyone. There are no friends, no lovers, no acquaintances, no reason to seek anything. The tribe has not accepted you and it does not care about whether you exist or not. Improving yourself will only clarify how the best of you is still far from enough.

Why care about those who don't care about you? They are not your neighbors, and for them you might as well be dead. You're only a tool for them. You can either live a mediocre life picking up the scraps that they spare you, or destroy yourself to destroy as many of them as you can. At least you'll alleviate the boredom without having to pleasure yourself like an animal until you die your pointless death.

You see, Heaven and Hell are not meant for your average individual who was dealt a good hand of genetics and culture. They are meant for the desinfranchised, the broken, the bored, the irrelevant and the evil. They give despair to the wicked and relief to the hopeless. Religion is so as to keep those who are broken from going mad (or better, rational) from the obvious absurd of this shitty planet. God keeps us company away from the darkness of the shadow of death that is the fact that we are all alone.

Without God, you might as well realize there is no point in being. You might as well pick up a gun and shoot the whole place down until they murder you.

>oh, but reddit said it's stupid to say religion is what creates morals!

Functional people don't need God to tell them what's good and evil all the time. Broken people do. And you might as well wake up to the reality that there is a damn big majority of us out there.

>MPDGs are usually static characters who have eccentric personality quirks and are unabashedly girlish. They invariably serve as the romantic interest for a (most often brooding or depressed) male protagonist.

You mean incels?

/lit/ is by far the saddest board I've ever been in.

Unlike /adv/ and /r9k/ that are suicidal due to circumstances, /lit/ is suicidal by conviction. Even the books you guys discuss are works on the misery of the human condition. You love discussing Camus, DFW, Pessoa and Dostoievski.

Do books make you a neurotic?

I want to make Pragmatism my life philosophy, as morality and integrity have only left me a broken shell of a person in a world where it is just not worth it to have values.

Tell me authors that I can refer to, and who will give me a philosophical background to defend the fact I stopped caring about morals and integrity.

From now on I will only act on what is convenient to me.
