France
32
Donna Tartt, the little friend.
And just before, Mein kampf.
Not even joking, it was super interesting, I just expected some hysteric racist and antisemitic shit and instead it brought a lot of context. I understood so much things which were confusing to me before, his hate for France, his rising, the german bourgeoisie decadence, etc. If you like WW2 history, I utterly recommend it, even if you're not nazi. That's one of those books everybody think they know because of how famous are those events, but actually don't.

Always preferred this classic, harmonious one to the new badly drawn fren one. I appreciate the positive vibes of fren, it's a breath of fresh air on that obnoxious site where for reasons tons of bitter retards insult everybody for anything, the exact same thing they'll point out on Twitter for exemple.
>Oh we basically are the same but your view slightly differs from mine? I'll write a whole 35 lines block to insult, despise you and wish your death because I'm basically a frustrated dropout who did this for a decade now and my education was mostly fit by the toxic culture of this website. And when I'm alone I really wonder why nobody likes me IRL?
But I must confess that esthetically fren is super ugly, and I prefer the old one.
Also I overall identify to Wojak anyway. Pepe is the chaotic basic instinct, Wojak is civilisation.

what are some books about war from the perspective of an ordinary soldier/low ranked officer? I would like to know more about how it would affect one's psyche before, during and after having experienced it. It doesn't really matter which war, but i prefer the more recent ones (like Iraq)

Currently on page 700 of the Way of Kings. I have the day off so I'm gonna make a mad dash to finish this fucking thing and then not read sanderson for another year.
