Hopefully I have setup the pastebin correctly I have never used it before. I haven't felt inspired to add to my idea in awhile. While I present this as a cult I honestly do believe in basically everything I wrote here.

One thing I haven't expounded on in culture section is that eugenics is practiced and ideal every baby in this cult is a 'designer baby' (selected for intelligence, compassion, against gene associated with depression etc)
I think of the cult as a kind of modern Buddhism but Gautama's answer is instead to use technology to eventually bring about an escape from desire and suffering.
