Θαλῆς ὁ Μῑλήσιος ἔρωτηθεὶς ὑπό
τινος τί ἐστιν ἀγαθὸν καὶ κακόν,
εἶπεν, "ἡ γλῶττα."

aliquō quid esset [et] bonum et malum [eōdem tempore]
dīxit, "lingua."

Thales the Milesian, having been asked by
someone what is [both] good and bad [at the same time]
said, "the tongue."
