Hey man, I totally overslept today and my brain is totally jumbled up.

"Certain elements" can be defined as:

- Working through deceit in order to get farther vs. working honestly in order to maintain integrity

- Following one's desires and usurping responsibilities towards others vs. accepting one's duty.

- The propensity for a society to be individualistic vs. collectivism

There are many more dichotomies. In no way am I limiting the difference between good and bad in just two paths, as morals and ethics are often blurred as ambiguous and entirely subjective.
