Why do people come onto /lit/ with the sole intention of starting threads that disparage literature? This board is filled to the brim with non-readers, and I'm not referring to the lazy anons who like to talk about books without actually reading them. They just drop some ridiculous non-sequitur, then tell other people to justify themselves.

Posting to see if anyone remembers what I'm talking about.

I recall several years ago, there was a fellow (Portuguese maybe) who posted excerpts of his epic poem which was set in modern day Afghanistan. The excerpt I believe was about Taliban fighters. Does anyone have this excerpt or know what happened to this guy?

Alright christians, I need your help. I need you to tell me how or if I can still be saved, because I've done some pretty horrendous stuff. Here's a list:
>killed and tortured probably hundreds of animals, getting pleasure out of their squeals (keep in mind I'm not the same person)
>hit my parents and made them cry on numerous occasions, dissapointed them in ways you couldn't even imagine, ruined their life on purpose
>tortured kids as well, when I was a kid though
>also fapped to dicks because I found them sexual when I was like 10 or 11, and once fapped to a trans scene when I was a bit older (concious of my actions)
>I ruined my body with drugs, alcohol and cigarettes
>I masturbated daily and watched porn, had sex with prostitutes
>lied to my parents so much and they have no idea
There are probably other things I've done but these are probably the worst ones I can remember. Did I commit any eternal sins? I mean, my parents are still alive, I didn't kill any people, I thought animals don't have souls. I am really frightened because I thought to myself: What if God is real in spite of all the atheist's stupid arguments? They don't change his existence, just your belief in Him. So now I'm scared shitless everyday of the inevitable death and judgement, I think I even had a mild heart attack, you don't know how this feels, I have no idea how to deal with this, I feel like I'm the last person that would be allowed in Heaven considering all the sins I've done while being completely aware that I'm sinning. What do you think?
