I definitely feel this too. I was recently talking to relatives I don't politically agree with and was struck at how different the issues that they were concerned with were from mine. They spend large amounts of time researching and debating what seem to me absolute non issues -the migrant caravan, Benghazi, planned Parenthood, et cetera. Looking in as an outsider these issues seem manufactured to cause outrage and now I'm paranoid about which manufactured outrages are targeted at me. I try to stay away from partisan media and look towards trusted news sources, but there are only maybe three that I actually trust now (AP, Reuters, and BBC for non British news)

I have a hard time even discussing politics now because every issue that people are concerned about seems completely tangential to what matters to me. It's like we lack a shared vocabulary or even a shared set of values. I feel ideologically homeless these days

Books for that feel?

Is there any book that can make up for the feeling of missing out on any social life in my 20s and never having had female attention ever?

Don't bother trying to find any books. There are none. Some dumb book from 150 years ago about a rich guy seeing a woman's ankle is no substitute and no source of familiar feelings. Novels these days are a medium endorsed by a centralised cabal of sjw midwits. No book will talk about issues like women having Chads on tap due to the internet, NPCs, any reasonable person's complete disconnect from the wider culture.

If you didn't go to Oxbridge or one of H/Y/P/S/NYU/Amh/Will then you're not getting in either.

Nobody is writing true to life stuff. I am no genius but I can make at least 5 "stunning and contrarian" insights just by saying what I see.

The more that I read about history, the less respect I have for the pseud trend of presenting literature as something completely transcending current events or human emotions or common sense or even commercialism. Older novels were so of their time and so responsive to current events.

When I read just a little bit about socialist revolutionaries in 19th century Russia, Dostoevsky seems less pointless and more grounded. But I have somehow less respect for the pseuds of today who venerate him.

Of course the same applies to philosophy, in the form of whatever bullshit happens to be accepted.

The consumercuck / producerbull dichotomy is slightly relevant here. Consumercucks are the ones who push this transcendent nonsense while producerbulls don't engage in this agenda pushing. If The Brothers Karamazov is about the transcendent nature of souls or such bullshit, the consumercuck (in the form of critiquers) can justify his pompous and high minded bullshitting as necessary or correct. If the book is merely a response to current events and ideas in Dostoevsky's time, what you need to discuss the book is a knowledge of 19th century russian history and dates and institutions: dirty stuff that is beneath the pompous critiquer.

Dostoevsky wrote mostly crap but I think he was right about physiognomy. I am starting to believe in it. I am also pretty sure that normies all derive from about 12 templates, 6 for each gender. They are all blending together.

All living off the land / hunting / survival nonsense is bullshit. It's all for brainlets. There is nothing rewarding about it. Yes, humans and animals and land haven't changed much within the past few thousand years but the people in these activities use whatever cutting edge equipment they happen to have in whatever time they live in, be it 2018, 1958, 1908, 2118. How is that rewarding? There is no purity. Your underwear is space age tech.

I put DIY in the above category. Of course it's not related to the outdoors but I dislike it for the same reason. Drudging within whatever manmade constructs have been built with the technology of the time is not rewarding.

I am a right winger but I have to admit that everything these days is produced by cucky males who support Blairism.

This military "hoorah" stuff is bullshit. Nobody ever actually achieved anything through it in their personal lives. Even in military battles, one side already had the overwhelming numbers advantage. I cringe when I see it being espoused on Joe Rogan.

The most dangerous countries in the world are Canada, Australia, and New Zealand because they have the Anglo intelligence but with zero history or tradition. Future atrocities will come from these countries. The USA is sadly sliding in to South American style irrelevance but I want to see it happen sooner, out of curiosity.

We are living in a new philosophical dark age (just within Philosophy, as distinct from science). The subject has run its course. It now has two worthless functions: Flailing about within the unfalsifiable while judging itself solely through fashion. And standing on the frontier of science and making unfalsifiable theories about unknown areas of physical knowledge.

Nonsense. This is what you tell yourself to justify your behavior. And, in any event, it doesn't matter unless you fastidiously compare yourself to the best people in your field, which is no way to get anywhere. Imagine an eighteen year old Victor Wooten crying because he isn't as good as Charles Mingus. It's unproductive self pity, it's a waste of time, and if you enjoy what you do (e.g. playing bass) it doesn't matter in terms of practice whether or not you will ever, in fact, be as good as Victor Wooten.
