>"The man who kills a man, kills a man. The man who kills himself, kills all men; as far as he is concerned he wipes out the world. His act is worse (symbolically considered) than any rape or dynamite outrage. For it destroys all buildings: it insults all women. The thief is satisfied with diamonds; but the suicide is not: that is his crime. He cannot be bribed, even by the blazing stones of the Celestial City. The thief compliments the things he steals, if not the owner of them. But the suicide insults everything on earth by not stealing it. He defiles every flower by refusing to live for its sake. There is not a tiny creature in the cosmos at whom his death is not a sneer. When a man hangs himself on a tree, the leaves might fall off in anger and the birds fly away in fury: for each has received a personal affront"

Anti-natalism-natalism is the solution for the world.
You have children, but the goal of it is to eliminate suffering forever, unlike antinatalism that doesn't work and suffering can increase rather than decrease. And the natalism that is basically animal irrationalism.

>[T]he somewhat good news is that our lives can be meaningful—from some perspectives. One reason that this is only somewhat good news is that even by the more limited standards, there are some people whose lives either are or feel meaningless. Moreover, the prospects for meaning generally diminish as the scope of the perspective broadens.
>That the prospects tend to diminish in this way does not imply that lives that are meaningless from a more limited perspective are never meaningful from a broader perspective.
>There are those, for example, who have no family left or who have no meaning for their family or community, perhaps because they have been shunned, but who make an impact at a broader level.
>Another reason why the news so far has been only somewhat good is that even those whose lives have meaning from more expansive terrestrial perspectives are rarely satisfied with the amount of meaning their lives have.
>Not only do people typically want more meaning than they can get, but the most meaning that anybody is capable of attaining is inevitably significantly limited.

The future is absolutely terrifiying. AI is already capable of drawing, writing, voicing. It's only a matter of time until bots start writing masterpieces of literature, music and art in general becomes the domain of this artificial Frankenstein. We are completely and utterly doomed. We saw how quickly computers surpassed us in arithmetic and complex calculations, we thought thats where they're potential would be directed to. But now, the genuinely bone-chilling realization is setting in, that computers aren't better just at computing numbers. They're better at everything. With enough time, humanity will be left in the dust and we will marvel and behold at our electronic superiors with complete reverence. Moby Dick will look like a fucking joke to the stuff X8-9000 is going to come up with. The Divine Comedy will pale in comparison to WORDOTRON's "Mist in Reno". Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Tchaikovsky, Schubert...mere footnotes in musical history, by the year 2391 AD we will have a seemingly infinite repertoire of AI authored symphonies that move the soul in ways impossible to comprehend. What were we thinking...we are puny, pathetic, meager creatures who have created Gods that will at best serve as benign, yet superior beings to us all. I hope they just kill us all so we don't have to live with this utter shame.
