I basically destroyed my brain worldbuilding for my novel (1722/50000 at the end of day one)but now that all that shit is done, it's rolling out easy. What i have done i did in about an hour and a half after work. And tomorrow i should feel less like a warmed-over corpse.

I personally am finishing Best Served Cold by Abercrombie. I really feel this man tries to hammer the point that life is bleak and unfair way too much. It gets quite dull after a while, and it makes it easy to predict what he'll pull next.

Question, fellow /lit/ screenwriters. Currently I got some brilliant ideas, visually mainly. However, the only way it can work is if I incorporate it into another voyage and return plot. So, I was wondering, how do you feel about those standard plots? Do you guys think that they are rather played out and I should search for another way of using these ideas or do you think I should run with it?
