I refuse to read just about anything written by a woman after 1960. I also won't read any author of jewish descent.

Do you journal or write literary summaries/analysis of your books to make sure you're understanding what you read? I want to do something like this, I realize whenever I explain the plot of a book to someone else it makes a lot more sense in my head and I get the meaning better.

How do you get the most out of your books so you're understanding them rather than just using them as entertainment?

Can't we just murder the publishers? There are more of us than of them and nobody likes them.

I voted Japan becasue I'm biased, writing my dissertation on them and have barely read any Chinese lit.
