Hey /lit/teratzi,

I was wondering what you wonderful snobs out there think about a hierarchy of worth among the different forms of literature/writing.

Here are the categories:
>novels/novellas
>short story
>poetry
>song
>(screen)play

Are they all equally valid as art and entertainment or are some constrained much more than others?

OK so i'm a senior in high school and my english teacher is pretty much on crack. We are supposed to read the following books by the time school gets out in three months and he's told us we're not going to bother. Are any of these books worth reading in my spare time?

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
Sons and Lovers by D.H. Lawrence
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad

I agree. I'm not sure its mental though. It all happens involuntarily. I think I'll just take a yagershot before I go in or find myself some shit-tier pain killers.

What could possibly go wrong? Thanks for the help /lit/.

Hey /lit/, I wasn't really sure which board to ask, so hopefully you guys will know.

When sending multiple replies via email, do I have to address (Dear Mr. Anon,) each time? Or can I just start writing?
