in fact, stats are just putting numbers to the bullshit, and normally you don't even have to do that and just just bullshit your way through everything.

in fact, stats barely mean anything. skills tend to be more impactful. and even skills are just weird fantasy magics one can come up with, except they are more common and everyone has them.
now if you wanted a similar setting without going litrpg, you'd just have to make up some other bullshit to get to the end result. but in the end that's all it is: bullshit.
