Really, is it any different from based and cringe? or the x-thousandth pepe and wojak edit? or my (excellent) spurdo edit? idioms and memes that direct people's expression, it's something that has existed forever. People imitate others without even realizing it, and they think in the expressions they learn. If you read the bible, it's striking just how many day-to-day turns of phrase originate from those pages. So most people's expression is directed by a book that they haven't even read, but have been imitated for thousands (or at least hundreds) of years. Reddit likes wows and chonkers and hecking borkers and gold and fucking loves science, it is simply their nature.

I've simplified the stories above, of course, but this structure works for me. If there are a lot of characters in your story and each of them should portray a different idea, try answering the questions for all of them.

i think it's hope: a hope that /lit/ will get better even though it only ever gets worse.
it's also the only place i can post anime girls next to discussion of literature and philosophy without it feeling out of place.
