Been slowly reading the doctrine of awakening by Evola; is it correct to say that the purpose of the ascetic discipline is not to banish dukka, but instead it is to foster the inner strength in order to deal with and overcome the dukka?

Don't know if I'm interpreting that correctly or not, any help from those more wise than me?

It is astonishing how much these people are willing to bend reality around them so that their retardation can make sense. Especially in regards to consciousness, arguably one of the most interesting and mysterious things (thing?) that exists in the universe...Or at least interacts with what we know as as the universe.
