So I'm not the only one who reads this sort of municipal planning document? The past few years I started reading hydrology reports, historical community planning documents, geological surveys, biological resources assessments, &c. for my hometown and adjoining areas. I have no idea why, but I can't stop. I have recurring fantasies about one day getting my hometown to incorporate and becoming the mayor.

When i get into a new anime or watch a previous anime i get COMPLETELY absorbed by it.. For example i re-watched Naruto Shippuden like 3 months ago and i cant get it out of my head. I imagine myself in the anime being a villain or a hero. I imagine what the characters do off-screen. My coworkers even ask me if im depressed or whats wrong with me as i completely space out during meetings and think about the world of Naruto/anime. Fuck me dude, i wonder if its autism or if im just fucking retarded dumbfuck.

This, everything is actually boring and disgusting and everybody is just pretending to enjoy things but enjoyment is impossible outside of imagination. They do it just because they want to feel that small release of dopamine from imagining that other people are envious of them.

>within a few minutes some dude bro comes up to me asking me what I'm doing
>I tell him I read, he asks if everything is okay, I say yes and look at him funny, he leaves
>few minutes later a family walks past me, the mother clearly brings the children close to her while the father deliberately pushes between me and them as they pass quickly
>few minutes later a police officer comes up to me
>he asks me what I'm doing, how's it going, what I'm reading, makes some comments about the weather, asks me how long I'm planning to read there
>I give brief answers till he leaves
>some kids hit me with a water balloon from far away
>see the officer still hanging around clearly keeping watch over me
>give up and go home after at most 40 minutes

What's the secret to reading undisturbed in public?
It's over, I'm never leaving my house again.
