Fuck Voltaire, he was and is easily the most overrated "philosopher" to ever have defecated on the cultural history of the western world. His entire body of work is just utilizing irony and humor as a crutch to escape his inability to produce any true contributions to philosophy as a whole, and the only reason he is famous today is because of his >le witty satire that let him constantly strawman other ideas without truly confronting them. If anyone ever mentions Voltaire as their favorite philosopher, it is a good sign that a). They don't know anything about philosophy and probably haven't even bothered to read Voltaire and b). They are a pretentious plebeian who desperately wants to be seen as an Enlightened Intellectual by even more uneducated plebeians.
