what does your favorite philosopher have to say about death?
Obviously Plato seems to think that the soul goes on but are there any atheists that actually have something interesting to say about death aside from "muh eternal oblivion"?
do you think the vast majority of philosophy is simply just a cope due to fear of death? or do you think its essentially a solved problem i.e. there's nothing much to say about death in philosophy that hasn't already been said?
