I honestly wouldn't know. It would depend on a lot of things. Am I getting fed? Is the place dirty? Is there a chance for me to escape? Are they going to be doing something with me? What was I doing before they kidnapped me?

I'm not really sure where you're going with this. Are you talking about freedom? Because I'm not that worried about my freedom. If I'm locked in a cage forever I would simply work on my meditation or just let myself die.

Why are you so sure it's "irrational"? Do you feel like you have to accept the unknown? How the hell are you going to accept something you don't know? What are the implications of "the unknown"? Aren't they that it is unpredictable and undefined, uncontrollable? How can you predict it will be bad then? Where's the (You) that would survive until that imagined future, and you wish to be? Would he still be (You)? Could you be (You) without this one fear, whch you say is the Fear of your life?

If you fear what you can't control, if you don't want to be the controlled, might not dealing with life as a controller help?
