Can great men really be made with burden of female sexual and romantic partners in their life. Im having a tough time even making any progress at all whilst having a girlfriend

is it possible to have a girlfriend or even friends for that matter without becoming sub human in the process. they turn me idiotic. If I exclude all non family members from my life I always feel so much more comfortable with the choices I make. I think about things much more thoroughly and always seem to make the right decisions. But once other people are added to my circumstances I find myself constantly making idiotic choices. Even in things that dont directly relate to the person that I've allowed into my life. As our lives weave together I feel parts of my own start to fade, my interests take a back seat to their needs, my emotions take a back seat to their emotions. I see myself bending at times to make it work but what is the point?

I need a girlfriend that is a house plant.
