I just have a good memory when it comes to things I've read and find myself inserting these things into conversation occasionally. No one I know has actually thought it was that strange, most are impressed actually, but I constantly hear online that pseuds always quote people.

Studying literature has made me an out of touch pseud and I have alienated my friends. I devote my time to developing aesthetic theories and rehearsing arguments in my head. I write short stories which are never published, and I force myself to read books because they are supposed to be important. I have spent too much time trying to impress /lit/ and now I am a delusional hipster douchebag.

Kant? Hegel? I've touched on their works; none of it seems particularly difficult with respect to ideas, it's only that their prose can be an impediment to comprehension.
