Hey /lit/, just wondering if anyone has a high res picture of the HoL compass on the cover of the book. Preferably with a black background, thanks in advance. (It's for a t-shirt I'm making)

General HoL discussion too I guess, I know a pretty decent amount about the book so I can answer questions and stuff.

Hello /lit/

I'm something of a journeyman writer at the moment and was trying to gain a sense of perspective regarding modern literature. I haven't read a book written in the last 20 years besides Mason & Dixon (which I loved) and Infinite Jest (which I gave up on because I just don't like DFW and feel like he doesn't have much to say outside of himself).

What about House of Leaves? I appreciate the stylistic experiments, but, to anyone who's read it, is it a good book? I feel like post-modernism has unfairly been labeled alienating (Pynchon, for example, not only wants you to read his book, but he also respects your humanity and wants to help you grow. DFW just wants you to admire how smart and thoughtful he is). How does House of Leaves stack up?

tl;dr Is House of Leaves good literature?

Greeting /lit/tle people,
I recently bought a rather large amount of books (givin' my finances at the moment) and started reading House of Leaves. Here's the rest of my list:
>Slaughterhouse-5 by Kurt Vonnegut
>The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger (read it before; loved it)
>The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner
>As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner
>Room by Emma Donoghue
>Catch-22 (read bits and pieces when I was helping a friend write a major essay on it; liked what I read)
Now I'm not the guy to usual make a /r/equest, but seeing as my list is rather big I really am at a loss as to where to go next. Your thoughts, /lit/? Thanks in advance.

tl;dr: from the list, what should I read after House of Leaves?
inb4 so-and-so sucks, make your own opinion, ect.

Who else has read this? and if you have, who else has lost large chunks of time staring at words on a page or a closed door. Like literally lost, 5-10 minutes go by in the blink of an eye.
