I finished it a couple of hours ago. WHAT A JOURNEY. This panthology is something that will definitely stay with me for a long time, essential reading after "the Citadel of the Autarch" I don't even know why it is seen as a sort of "expansion" compared to the four previous books, in my opinion it is a integral part to the story of Severian.

Read all five books over the last few weeks, nice to get some answers but the clumsy Christian allegories spoiled it a bit.

Urth of the New Sun felt more dream-like, particularly the first half where every other chapter ends with Sev getting knocked out or thrown into space.
