Any sci fi inspired by the Age of discovery or later geographical expeditions, taking place on a spaceship travelling through an inhospitable unexplored region of space and somehow cut off from the rest of human space fleet, where the crew must face hardship, starvation, diseases, malfunctions, forced cannibalism, etc? There might be some conflict with sentient aliens or creepy space creatures, but I'd prefer the emphasis not to be on that. Ideally I'm looking for something like The Terror but in space.
