I'm over halfway on the Eye of the World. I'll tell you that I'm really enjoying it so far. It's not as gripping as some other books I've read but it has been a solid series so far. You'll follow the entire journey from village to village with multiple characters but the action scenes and revelations start happening along.

Jordan has a very compelling way of writing. I'll admit it's not for every one, but it's worth a try.
