Are Sanderson's other books better than Mistborn 1?
I read his WoT stuff and had no issue with it (although the only reason I was reading WoT by that point was to complete it so eh) but I didn't find Mistborn a very good read. I just cared about the lore and couldn't give less of a shit about the characters and plot, at that point I felt like I should have just been reading an encyclopaedia and would have been more entertained.
Read it because I found it in a drawer of an airbnb and I'd heard Sanderson is meant to be good, maybe I started with his worst work.
