Thank you! I've been studying for 7 years now (since high school) and being completely honest, Vergil has been the main author I go back to when I'm in a rut. Whether it be the Aeneid, Eclogues, or Georgics - they give me hope to start again and keep on going, remembering that Latin is the most beautiful language (maybe) in all existence and how I want others to see the beauty of its form. Remember: never skimp on Vergil!

"O socii—neque enim ignari sumus ante malorum—
O passi graviora, dabit deus his quoque finem.
Vos et Scyllaeam rabiem penitusque sonantis
accestis scopulos, vos et Cyclopea saxa
experti: revocate animos, maestumque timorem
mittite: forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit.
Per varios casus, per tot discrimina rerum
tendimus in Latium; sedes ubi fata quietas
ostendunt; illic fas regna resurgere Troiae.
Durate, et vosmet rebus servate secundis."
Talia voce refert, curisque ingentibus aeger
spem voltu simulat, premit altum corde dolorem.
