I want to read the Bible, but I read that the KJV has some pretty critical translation errors, such as 'Though shall not murder' being mistranslated to 'Thou shall not kill', and a few others.
I want to read the Old Testament as close to the old Hebrew manuscripts as possible. I'm thinking of getting the kjv new testament, and a separate version of the Jewish Bible. Call you guys make any recommendations? Or should I ask this question on a Jewish forum?

Do you guys do your own translations? How many work have you translated so far? Do you get them published?

This is an experiment, /lit/ is complaining lately.
I think this could help the board quality overall.
Direct all questions that in your opinion don't deserve their own thread to here.
Keep this thread open if you like to help fellow anons out with their questions.
Turning this in a general avoids newfags asking those same questions over and over again.
Also, other repetitive posts that don't really need their own thread can be directed here.
