Just wanted to remind you that if you are not from eastern or central europe, you'll never fully enjoy the lingo in pic related, which is the thing that makes it worth reading.

I just read it and I wanna govoreet about it with my droogs.

But on a larger scale, this happens to all of us. Parents, public education system, government, media, etc. We get brainwashed from birth, and that influences, if not dictates, our choices.

Meaning, you can't change who someone is? You can't force a circle to fit into a square. Or maybe, you can't do it quickly.

i've compiled a list of what to read, especially since it's been a good 3 years since i last read a book.

my only problem is starting. i say to myself in the morning that i'll go read before bed, but i end up in bed scrolling till 1am. i want to read, but i can't find the motivation. how do i start? was anyone else in the same boat that i am?
