/lit/ - Literature

So I just finished reading this, and the sequel. These have to be two of the best books I've read recently. I haven't really dabbled in this genre, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend anything similar? Help would be greatly appreciated, since I have nothing else to do while at work

I'm looking for a good fantasy without a love story. Any recommendations? I started reading The Name of the Wind but put it down immediately after he started his story.

Any opinions on this? I've read that a sequel is coming out soon.

So I just finished this....Is there supposed to be a sequel? Or did the author want it that way? I think the ending was pretty touchy. I normally read non-fiction because fantasy is always the same but I found that "The Name of The Wind" was great because it was not the same.

I finished The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss not too long ago and I throughly enjoyed the novel. Considering that the sequel doesn't come out for 8 months I was wondering if anyone could recommend some other low-fantasy books that would keep me entertained until then.

Is this the only book or are their multiples that make up a series?
