Can't understand what the fuck you're saying but yeah, I agree with your point about the economy. Shit pisses me off the more I think about it.

Not to get too /biz/zy but right now I'm actually studying cryptocurrencies (mostly cryptography, whitepapers, monetary theory, etc.) as I think this is probably one of our last and greatest hope that we have for our economy.
The papers on digital currency are actually easier to read than you'd think. They are usually short and extremely readable (even Chaum's original thesis was pretty short and easy to read ).
The cyptography element is probably the hardest for me because it's the least intuitive. I have studied mathematics before though so it wasn't the worst.
Haven't really touched monetary theory yet but it seems like this is the element that will really tie everything together (to their detriment, most cryptocurrencies don't seem to have a firm standing in monetary theory).
A lot of shitcoins have been flooding the market and I suspect they are shit precisely because they haven't bothered to develop the concept of cryptocurrencies past the basic, primitive state it is in now.

By the time I'm done with this I hope to be able to write up a paper or some shit. I feel like this field is very fertile ground, intellectually speaking, and I want to get in while there are still low-hanging fruit to pick.
