it's not well written and elliot rodger was an idiot. he fumes that he attended a party at a castle because he doesn't have a castle. he then tells the reader that he deserves a castle because if he had one he could get laid. he could not have gotten laid even with a castle because he never approached women. the only time he did approach a woman he was trying to push her off a cliff and he fumbled that so hard he got pushed off himslf. he just sat in cafés and parks waiting for them to approach him. he has no self awareness and on the day of retribution he believes he will be able to lure people back to his apartment with his "charm" even though the fact that he can't do that is the whole reason GOR the day of retribution. he drives all over the state to buy lottery tickets because he thinks he deserves to win. this in no way refutes the american dream. if you want a book for that read kafka's amerika. my twisted world was an enlightening read but elliot was not a talented writer.
