I've been on /lit/ only a hand full of times, surprisingly. Yet, out of the times I've been on here, I've never seen a thread about Lovecraft. Can we get one?

Best gift I've ever gotten. Leather bound, silver leafed pages, nice silk bookmark.

So I've recently received some book tokens and was going to buy the Necronomicon anthology of Lovecraft's works. That was until I saw this 'Complete Fiction' collection and now I'm unsure. I've looked over their contents and they have a lot of the same tales, but also a good handful of different ones each. I was hoping for some advice on which one would be the best investment content wise from anyone who owns either of them.

I'd like to read H.P. Lovecraft.

Should I stick to Necronomicon, The Dunwich Horror and At the mountains of madness (all mentioned in the wiki) or is this one worth it?

It's not very expensive, but some guy commented on amazon that you should wait for the new edition which would be proofread
