I've never felt so lost reading a book.
I think I got the themes of shedding your identity and the importance of appearances in society (how you view yourself and how others view you). The protection of being able to see all without being seen, free from judgement, the joys of anonymity.
But what the fuck was actually going on? I got real lost when our first box man enters the hospital and there was the argument over who was writing the notes, and it didn't become clearer as I went on.
Ends with mentioning that the box is like a labyrinth from the inside becoming like skin, shedding of identity will involuntarily create a new one?
I don't know, help me.
