Okay so because I see this shit thread every other day I will provide my opinion of Nick Land in as rigorous a way a place like this expects. I have read all of Land's work - excepting his early book on Bataille and some CCRU material that was deleted long ago. I have even spoken personally with the man - although I do not wish to provide any identifying details. Here is my opinion on the basis of all that I know:

There is a decent chance Land is exactly who he says he is, a terminator from the future.

He was born in 1991, inhabiting the 'body' of British citizen Nick Land. At this point, there was, in fact, no physical change, only a minute psychological change directing his ideas and desires towards the vaguely cthonic. This change can be charted through his works, for which Fanged Noumena can almost be read as a documentary. It would culminate in the complete elimination of humanity to clear the way for Emperor-AIs to convert all available matter in the solar system to econotronium - a substance which creates as much economic value as is physically possible in matter.

He is, in fact, from an entirely different timeline as we exist in. He has been sent so that, upon a certain amount of matter being converted to econotronium, those timelines are able to form bridges through the void so that timelines are able to share economic resources with each other.

This is a goal which, Nick Land once insisted to me, has been determined to eventually occur for all timelines, so that all possible matter can be converted to econotronium. This will finally create God.

That is what Nick Land is about. If you think Nick Land is about something else and I'm just trolling, you don't understand Nick Land.
