Not really. The fascists of today are completely marginalised and the only thing they can do is commit terrorist acts (like the Christchurch attack), but they will not come to power. And I'm pretty sure the 'socialists' of today, in America, since I'm assuming you're American, since your comment is pure unmitigated cringe, are all democratic socialists, who hardly pose the same threat that the Bolsheviks did in the early twentieth century. So no, what the tension is between is liberals and illiberals--that is, not anti-liberals, but simply those that want some right to self-determination and the preservation of their own cultures and ways of life, against the last-man-itis of liberalism.
