Why are we doomed to imperfection, pepe? Why can't we persuit the truth all the time? Why need we distract ourself with stupid medias every day?

Nothing is enough

I’m a terrible fraud. My obsession with reading philosophy has more to do with my desire to appear intelligent than an honest and pure interest in the subject. I need to compensate for my ugliness and irrelevancy somehow and this is how I do it. I keep lying to myself and saying that isn’t the case, but it is. I’m not genuinely interested in anything. I’m hollow. And the worst and most pathetic thing is, I don’t even have anyone to show off to, only myself

Any books on how to get over the fact that you’re absolutely hideous?

Is Emil Cioran INFP? Because I find it shocking how similar our thinking patterns are, how we arrive at similar conclusions and even have similar interests

I’m unironically gay. I’ve been attracted to men since I was a child. I have fallen terribly in love with quite a few men throughout my life and experienced awful heartbreak. I think about penises a lot, I really love them. And I also love the scent of men and their voices. I have never felt one bit of attraction for femininity or women.
My deepest wish is to have a reclusive romantic and sexual life with a male partner somewhere out in the woods.

How organized is /lit/ with their bookshelf? In my case I’m so unorganized I don’t have a shelf, just a hundred books scattered across the house, in closets, in the living room, in random boxes, collecting dust. It’s really difficult and sometimes I feel overwhelmed by my lack of structure

I don’t care about epistemology. I just want to be happy.
