It depends on your priorities. These collections have the Howard and Lovecraft stories as they were first published in Weird Tales (the classic famous versions), but some later versions were based off manuscripts and typescripts, and undid editor cuts, etc. So there are longer and more accurate versions now published that better reflect the authors' wishes, but these are the stories in the form that made the authors famous.

Well, Howard essentially created the damn genre and made it great, and Jordan's Conan is a third-rate bloodless fanfiction with tons of boring military crap, so it's not much of a contest.

Ah, confusion is inevitable. If you're speaking of the Lovecraft collection by Gollancz, that's just all the stories he had published in Weird Tales. Great collection (pic related).
The pic you posted is another beats entirely, a collection of Babylonian magic writings of dubious heritage and some ripped-off HPL quotes, designed entirely to make cash off of Lovecraft's imaginary tome by making dumb kids think it existed. There have been at least three of those "Necronomicons," and they're all rituals, not stories.

Anyway, just buy the big Gollancz: all the published Conan stories as they appeared in Weird Tales, and a good essay/bio at the end.

Those big hardcovers? They're Gollancz's "big black books." Those are the only six they've put out so far, but I really enjoy them. Just stay away from the paperback versions: they turn into battered phone books overnight.

I'd say it's worth getting the Gollancz first, and then seeing if you really want the trilogy (besides, the trilogy costs a lot more these days)

I hope so. Nothing since Tarzan, though. I was bugging them to do a Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser volume last year, and they seemed positive. It would be in line with their general "good classic pulp" mandate--even a best of Elric would be a nice addition. So far just those six though.

They could be a bit sturdier, but the look suits the pulp history of the contents, in a quiet happy cheesy way.
