Helped change my life for the better and guided my inner self into fruition.
Reading books I never thought I'd read. Examining things I never thought I'd glance at. Forming opinions against things I once held dearly on. However, wades of shit must be drenched in and toppled on you before finding gold - a theory I'm not convinced is the best way to learn but just so happens to be the way I learned.

Mythology by Hamilton
Iliad/Odyssey by Homer
Histories by Herodotus
The first philosophers: intro on presocratics. Oxford
Also reading Republic after the essential Plato dialogues (Google Plato essential dialogues) so you get a grasp of his style and ideas since the Republic is more of a grand summation.

>Just got a gf which is great considering I thought I'd never have another gf again. Moved back to parents after 3 years of solitude so that sucks but I have to reset myself and my priorities which weren't being properly attended to since I was so busy working and stressing over finances. Hopefully, my goal is to regroup for no longer than 6 months.

Should I read the law and ethic books of Plato/Aristotle if I'm mostly interested in metaphysics/theology/existentialism?
I started with the Geeks and mostly want to end up reading Kant, Kierkegaard, Stirner, Schopenhaur, Nietchze, etc.
