I have a mixed feeling about Dostoevsky.

His short novels "Netocka nezvanova, underground man, the gambler etc" are the best I have ever read. More specifically there are pages and ideas that he truly seems to touch the deep into human soul, which for I can't thank and admire him enough.

For me reading Dostoevsky was 95% pain with 5% pure gold. Those 5% was so good that it was worth a while to grind trough the pages and pages, that i didn't understand at all. Personally most of it was - "They talking about stuff, - why ? Now they'r talking about other stuff, why ?!".

Please share writers that are similar to dostoevsky.

>One of the revolutionaries, Shigalyov, offers his thoughts on the emergence of the perfect society: “Starting with unlimited freedom, I arrive at unlimited despotism.” Enforced equality and guaranteed utopia demand the suppression of all individuality and independent thought.

WTF I hate Liberalism now.

don't know much about the guy but I've been researching the popularity of existentialism for an extended essay and his videos on existentialism are top-tier imo
