Based on my experience anon, here are my recommendations:
Bottle shop, what Americans call a liquor store and Brits call an Off-Licence. Raw material just walking through the door all day every day.
Hospital: work at a large city hospital either as an orderly or a security guard. You will see some shit.
Service station: again, normies coming in and out all day, all kids of people with all kinds of dramas.

There is no magic formula OP, hard work, self-discipline, relentless self promotion and a certain amount of luck all come into it.
One mildly useful point i can share: make sure you have your own "voice" that is different from most of the stuff around at the moment. The worst thing a writer can do is blend in with the crowd. You need to stand out. Doesn't matter if some people hate you so long as they notice you. Houllebecq (however the fuck you spell his name) has as many haters as fans, doesn't matter, his shit stands out, you know one of his books when you read it.

Modern Globohomo society cannot risk free thinkers and outsiders. They might think for themselves to come to conclusions different from the approved list of opinions. If your goal is to become wealthy there are far easier ways of achieving that. Writing is actually one the least likely ways of becoming rich.
Most writers still have day jobs and can't afford to quit them. I currently have 2 day jobs and am nowhere near being able to make a living off writing.

I've developed a cult following for my lo-fi prose. I get invited to writer's festivals now. When i attend i make sure to wear my scruffiest clothes so i seem more "real" and authentic than anyone else. I always pull a fuck at these writer's festivals. Hipster chicks love my dick. Currently developing one of my stories into a groovy arthouse film with the hippest director in Australia. It'll be Kino when it comes out next year.
So yeah, guess you could say it's coming along well.
