Not the most complex book of all time, not even the most complex sci-fi novel. Good read though, Delaney is writes much better prose than is typical of sf. Some pretty hot sex in it, too.

Would a big fan of PKD like it? I know it's epic, and to be honest I could never "get into" Dune. I'm a big fan of Tolkien's cosmology however. I never finished Stranger In A Strange Land, either.

I might read A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court or another PKD book first, but I'm not sure which one. Maybe The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, but again I'm not sure.

Any help here, /lit/?
