Yes professor goldstein, you're absolutely correct. these poor children don't know what's best for them - we have so many diverse and inclusive communities that our independent experts in sociology have vetted for maximal positive benefit to personal growth, infact now that you mention it i would like to propose a credit system of sorts, where participation in such a group is merited, and absense is... "noted".
Such a system I think will have a drastic improvement in community participation, and will reflect particularly positively on various economic trackers.

Question for others with vanishingly small intellects. I am a straight A student, which means nothing, as undergraduate college courses basically count for nothing in terms of higher knowledge. There are people who have read thousands of books, maybe even tens of thousands, like Harold Bloom, and will remember vastly more that they have read than you will. Take Dr. Sadler, of the 30 minute Hegel series. He's read thousands of philosophy books. I've read a grand total of 50 books since I turned 20 cover to cover, most of them philosophy or Bloom's picks, but some shameful Ian M Banks, William S. Burroughs, Philip K Dick, JD. Salenger, and Sylvia Plath type things along the way. I have taken intro, modern, ancient, medieval, and logic philosophy classes.

Now at 25, I see how I wasted decades of my life hardly reading anything but the random book someone recommends me along the way. For people like me, there is very little hope that I could ever gain that sort of wealth of knowledge as readers with speed and retention, a biological, mechanical advantage may have. I can do my best by focusing on Hegel, Dante, Emerson, Kant, Shakespeare, and other writers of highly cognitive and aesthetic beauty, but I will always only be chewing on a tiny piece of what someone with a true wealth of knowledge can bring to an appreciation of such works. I can listen to commentary, I can read the annotations, but I will always feel like I am a fraud.

The books they're having us read for English class are absolute garbage. Some pissed off Nigerian woman who hates America who wrote The Thing Around Your Neck. I told the teacher equality is a false god and lit the book on fire and sent him a picture. He says that my work resembles Bakhtin, so he didn't punish me except for blocking me from talking to him again. I could have literally been reading The Divine Comedy, Wittgenstein, Hegel, Mishima, Artaud, and a ton of other crap which I've been reading especially now that the semester is winding down. Why the fuck do I have to be beholden to someone else's curriculum when it's a bunch of shit I've already read like King Lear and a bunch of book of the month genre fiction post apocalypse garbage like Station 11?
