listen anon, i felt bad that i called u a fucking loser. deleted my comment. you are a fucking loser but i need you to know i feel bad about it. you are a loser in this world (and the next), this is not the final boss of literature, and only someone either underage or (worse) overage with an underage mindset would think that Recognitions was the final boss of literature. it's just "difficult" in the sense that not all sentences are totally clear. a little like Faulkner in that sense, but not really difficult at all.

Because the people that have come to them haven't read it either, so they aren't likely to question the authority born from the the speakers position and assumption of intelligence and scholarly ability, which is ultimately subsumed by the desire to listen to someone solely because they have or profess the ideas that you agree with and want to hear, sans any critical thought of ones own, least of all going to any lengths to check the veracity of ones' statements, background, or position, as that would take independent research and drive, and would preclude the notion of spending time and money to listen to someone tell you what you want to hear.

So we all agree this whole GME scheme is a postmodern take on wolf of wallstreet where society consumes the capitalistic hunger to an absurd self-aware synthesis?
