Your unbroken line argument is moot as I explained above. The entire point isn't to revive a dead religion but to take some of what was left and build upon it something new. Unlike christianity, which tries to fellate a bloatec corpse. And yes I know that that's not acceptable within christian views, but as I said, pagans do not need the approval of christians. Nor the other way round.

No, the difference isn't as big as you would imagine. Just look at the early days of christianity, that wasn't much different from paganism today.
