Can you imagine him looking down at you while resting his sweaty balls on your forehead?

Can you imagine him looking down at you with that face while his sweaty balls rest on your forehead?

>mfw a Muslim who wrote a book denying the divinity of Christ accepted an interview from a network he knew would be hostile because it represents the Zionist Christian wing of the Republican Party and the anchor was mean to him

What a fucking martyr.

I only finished Midnight's Children because it was a pretty girl who gave it to me. His purple prose and near-unbearably narcissistic tone made me slam it shut in anger at the end of each chapter. I could feel the smugness in his writing as easily as one can see it on his nasty little face. Fuck Rushdie.

Talk to me about your paranoia towards objective values (aesthetic or otherwise) Humeans of /lit/.

Why is it so scary for literature to serve a neurological function?

I stole my first book today: On the Beach by Nevil Shute. I do not feel any guilt over my crime. I am only happy to have another book in my possession, and free of charge.

It was the easiest thing in the world to do, almost criminally so. I stole it from a secondhand shop that has no cameras, no metal detectors, and poor lines of sight from the front desk. I
stuffed the book down the front of my jeans, covered it with my sweatshirt, and waltzed out of there with a grin on my face. I doubt the owner will even realize the book is gone, since they have
thousands upon thousands of volumes in their (poorly organized) catalog. One slim paperback will not be missed.

Come, share your stories of petty theft. We haven't had one of these threads in a while.
